if youve ever designed something in illustrator that contains image files that youve imported onto your document and then sent that document to somebody else then you may have run into a problem where the person you sent the file to is unable to view the images once they open the document the reason why this happens is because by default illustrator links the images to the document rather than embedding them or in other words illustrator is referring to the location of those images on your hard drive to display them and if the person you sent that document to doesnt also have those images saved on their hard drive with the same file names and locations then they wont be able to view them either its kind of like using a font for a design and then sending that design to somebody else who doesnt also have that font installed on their computer the solution in that scenario would be to convert your text to outlines before sending the file when it comes to working with images though t
