If your disc causes discomfort, leaks, or slips out of place, it most likely is not in the correct position. When positioned correctly, the disc will rest in the vaginal fornix, with the rim behind the cervix in the back, and resting on the pubic bone in the front.
The number one reason this happens is because the tampon is not inserted far enough into the vaginal canal. How Far Should a Tampon Go In? | U By Kotex US Kotex en-us menstrual-products Kotex en-us menstrual-products
The thumb trick Once youve inserted your disc into the vaginal canal and you can no longer keep it pinched, place your thumb on the rim and push it back and down until its just behind the pubic bone. You can then use your index finger to prop the rim up behind the pubic bone to keep the disc in place.
