Open your Google Document (or other Google item). Under the File menu, click Publish to the Web. Copy the iframe code. On the page you want the Google Doc embedded, click on Source Code button from the WYSIWYG editor to open the HTML editor.
If youre embedding a spreadsheet, you can show or hide parts of the spreadsheet after you publish to the web. Open a file in Google Sheets. At the top, click File Share. In the window that appears, click Embed. Click Publish. Copy the code in the text box and paste it into your site or blog.
In-text citations include the last name of the author followed by a page number enclosed in parentheses. Heres a direct quote (Smith 8). If the authors name is not given, then use the first word or words of the title. Follow the same formatting that was used in the works cited list, such as quotation marks.
Add a citation source and related details In the Citations sidebar, under your selected style, click + Add citation source. Select your source type. Select how you accessed your source. You can use a URL to search for websites or online newspapers, or use an ISBN number to search for books.
To insert a text box: Click Insert, then select Drawing from the drop-down menu. The Drawing dialog box will appear. Click the Text box command. Click and drag in the drawing area to create the text box. Release the mouse, and a text box will appear. When you are satisfied, click Save Close.
Use links Open a doc, sheet, or slide. Click where you want the link, or highlight the text that you want to link. Click Insert Link. Under Text, enter the text you want to be linked. Under Link, enter a URL or email address, or search for a website. Click Apply.
The in-text citation should occur in the sentence where the cited material has been used: Signal phrase reference (authors name) appears within the sentence with page number in parentheses at the end of the sentence. Full parenthetical reference (author last name and page number) appears at the end of the sentence.
