If you are having an issue making a purchase please ensure: Your account is not overdue, you will be unable to make a purchase when your account is behind on repayments. You have a valid payment method on your Zip account. Your personal details on your Zip account are up-to-date, these can be updated here.
You cant transfer funds from your Zip account to your bank account. However, you may be able to consolidate (or transfer) some of your Zip accounts to a credit card or personal loan account.
If you are attempting to add an accepted payment method and youre still having difficulty, please submit a support ticket with a screenshot of the error you are seeing and details about the card you are trying to use. The Zip team is always here to help!
An error 400 message screen will be shown in the Zip app when adding or updating a card. This typically occurs due to a CVV code, zip code, or other card information being entered incorrectly. If you are seeing this message, please update your Zip app and try adding the information again.
If youre adding a card for the first time and receiving an error that the zip/postal code is incorrect, it means that what is on file with the bank and what youre entering do not match. Simply contact your bank to confirm the current billing zip/postal code on file and re-add the card.
Your Mobile phone must have NFC capabilities. Ensure you have downloaded the latest version of the Zip app. Open your Zip app and tap the Pay tab. Tap Instore at the top of the screen. Read and accept the terms and conditions. Follow the prompts to add your card to your digital wallet (Apple Wallet/Google Wallet).
You dont have a valid payment method linked to your Zip account. Youve docHubed your credit limit for your account. Your Zip account payments are overdue. Your Zip account is on hold.
You can add a bank account (BSB Account Number) to your Zip Money account, however we do not accept bank details as a payment method for Zip Pay accounts at this time. Note: Payments made from bank accounts will take 3 - 5 business days to clear.
