in this video Iamp;#39;d like to talk about how to label and then reference an equation for later so letamp;#39;s go back to the example that we had with the aligned environment we had to solve the equation 3x to the third plus 3x squared minus 6x and then we went and we did a bunch of algebraic steps we factored out a 3 we factored out an X that we factored 2x squared plus X minus 2 and then we figured out what the answers were so letamp;#39;s use the label command to label the equation reference command to reference it later and then for the therefore line weamp;#39;ll have no number because itamp;#39;s really not a step itamp;#39;s just kind of there so letamp;#39;s start with this one we can type in label and you have to do it before the double backslashes and weamp;#39;ll call this 3 because weamp;#39;ve factored out the 3 here weamp;#39;ll call this X when you factored out the X and this will just call it factor poly because we factored that polynomial and we donamp;#3

In the LaTeX block, you can insert an inline formula by typing the equation inside $.. $ . For example, type: An inline equation is $e=mc^2$.
Integer Number in LaTeX To write this symbol or sign in LaTeX, we need to load either the amssymb or amsfonts package, either one works. Once loaded we call the command \mathbb{}, this command takes one value as argument. As you can see, you can use \mathbb{N} or \mathbb{Q} or even \mathbb{Y}, it accepts any letter.
To create a numbered list in LaTeX, you can use the \begin{enumerate} command along with the \item command. You can also create sub-levels of the numbered lists by adding a sub-command within the greater enumerate environment.
All you need to do is use the \caption{text} command within the float environment. Because of how LaTeX deals sensibly with logical structure, it will automatically keep track of the numbering of figures, so you do not need to include this within the caption text.
To suppress the page number on the first page, add \thispagestyle{empty} after the \maketitle command. The second page of the document will then be numbered 2. If you want this page to be numbered 1, you can add \pagenumbering{arabic} after the \clearpage command, and this will reset the page number.
You can create a numbered list with LaTex bullet points with the same code we used before, except with \begin{enumerate} and \end{enumerate} around the list items instead of \begin{itemize} and \end{itemize}. When compiled, the result resembles: As you can see, the above example shows each list item numbered.
If you want page numbering to start at the first numbered page, add \pagenumbering{arabic} (or whatever style you want) jus after \newpage to reset the page counter. With \documentclass[svgnames,titlepage]{article} you get the titlepage witout a number.
How do you write real numbers in LaTeX? If you mean the symbol for the set of real numbers, R , you write it as \mathbb{R}. Similarly, its \mathbb{N} for the natural numbers, \mathbb{Z} for the integers, and so on.
