Improve your collaborative workflow in docHub Photoshop with Layer Notes.
Drag and drop. The simplest way to turn an image or photo into a layer is to drag it into the canvas area of Photoshop. The app will automatically create a layer for the new image.
Using the Type tool In the Control panel near the top of the screen, choose the desired font and text size. Click the Text Color picker, then choose the desired color from the dialog box. Click and drag anywhere in the document window to create a text box. A new text layer will be added to your document.
Layers are like stacked, transparent sheets of glass on which you can paint images. You can see through the transparent areas of a layer to the layers below. You can work on each layer independently, experimenting to create the effect you want. Each layer remains independent until you combine (merge) the layers.
