Step 3: Steps to follow for embedding video in readme.md Replace username with your GitHub username. Replace repository with your repository name. Replace branch with the branch name (e.g., main). Linking to a heading in another note To link to a heading in another note, add a hash ( # ) at the end of the link destination, followed by the heading text. For example, [[Obsidian#Links are first-class citizens]] will create a link to Obsidian Links are first-class citizens.
By embedding files in your notes, you can reuse content across your vault. To embed a file in your vault, add an exclamation mark ( ! ) in front of an Internal link. You can embed files in any of the Accepted file formats.
The syntax to embed a note in Obsidian is an exclamation mark(!) followed by the markdown link syntax of two square brackets note name and then closed with two square brackets.
In the File explorer, right-click the note you want to merge. Select the note you want to merge into. Click Merge to confirm.
To create a new note: Press Ctrl+N (or Cmd+N on macOS) on your keyboard.
To write any Note related segment, you need to start it with an angle bracket ( ), and then you need to specify the highlighting block as Note with [! NOTE] . After that, you need to add an angle bracket ( ) in each new line that you want to include in your specific Note block.
