Embedding. A very practical approach for using images in Canvas is to embed it into your course. Images that are on the internet can be directly embedded, meaning you dont need to first download it and then upload it. The image doesnt live in Canvas, but it displays in Canvas.
Place your cursor in the text box where you want to insert your embed code. To get to the Embed Code tool you can either: Click on the Insert menu [1] and select Embed [2]. Click on the Embed icon [3] in the toolbar.
