Hi, this video will show Engineers how to apply Line Loads in Tekla Structural Designer which can simulate a brickwall or partition wall load. 1. Setup your loadcases for Dead or Imposed loads/actions. At the bottom of the screen, select the loadcase you would like to assign floor loads to. Then select the type of loads you wish to apply, in this video it is the Line Load. Line loads are Panel Loads and shall be applied on 2D floor elements. You need to make sure that the active window is a 2D Level window. At the top of the active view, Sty 1 - 2D tab, the yellow highlight contain step by step instructions on How/To execute the command, in this case How to apply line loads. Snap on a reference point (any support or intersections), then pick point 1 by snapping on start location on the plan and pick point 2 to end. Then press ESC.
