hey guys mikey here welcome back to another short video of the data analysis of low c enter i mean data visualization basics in our video series so today we will be just looking at how to add or how to change the name of legends while using q plot so for this weamp;#39;ll be taking the same example from our first video where i showed you how to use q plot for plotting so as always the package call it so weamp;#39;ll be using the inbuilt data set called the trees so as you know it has three columns with good height and volume so last time we just plotted it and we got something like this right so letamp;#39;s say we want to change the name of the girth here to something like g for that we can use the scale underscore color underscore continuous function so imagine the data is not continuous you can just change this to discrete and it will work so letamp;#39;s run this code so now you see that the curve has been changed to g similarly we can actually change the size size name as well

How to Add a Legend to a Chart in Google Sheets Step 1: Double-Click on a blank area of the chart. Step 2: Select the Customize tab. Step 3: Open the Legend sub-menu. Step 4: Select the Legend placement from the Position dropdown menu. Step 5: How to Format the Chart Legend.
Click the chart. next to the chart, and click Select Data. Select an entry in the Legend Entries (Series) list, and click Edit. In the Series Name field, type a new legend entry.
Learn more about types of charts. On your computer, open a spreadsheet in Google Sheets. Double-click the chart you want to change. At the right, click Customize. Series. Optional: Next to Apply to, choose the data series you want to add a label to. Click Total data labels. Optional: Make changes to the label font.
Select the object (table, equation, figure, or another object) that you want to add a caption to. On the References tab, in the Captions group, click Insert Caption. In the Label list, select the label that best describes the object, such as a figure or equation.
Click the chart, and then click the Chart Design tab. Click Add Chart Element Legend. To change the position of the legend, choose Right, Top, Left, or Bottom. To change the format of the legend, click More Legend Options, and then make the format changes that you want.
To add a legend to your chart in Google Sheets, open the Chart editor by double-clicking the chart, click on Customize, select Legend, choose the desired position from the dropdown menu, optionally format the legend text (e.g., bold or italics) and adjust the font size, and your chart will now have a clear legend.
On your computer, open a spreadsheet in Google Sheets. Double-click the chart you want to change. At the right, click Customize. Legend. To customize your legend, you can change the position, font, style, and color.
Right-click the chart with the data series you want to rename, and click Select Data. In the Select Data Source dialog box, under Legend Entries (Series), select the data series, and click Edit. In the Series name box, type the name you want to use.
