When you create a PDF version of your design file, a copy of each necessary font is added to the PDF file itself.

Embed fonts in a document or presentation Open the file you want to embed fonts in. On the application (PowerPoint or Word) menu, select Preferences. In the dialog box, under Output and Sharing, select Save. Under Font Embedding, select Embed fonts in the file.
Go to Tools Print Production Preflight select the PDF fixups option and select Embed missing fonts and click the Analyze and fix button to embed any unembedded fonts. After clicking Analyze and fix, you will be asked to save your new PDF document. Save it with the name and location you like.
If you save a report in the PDF format, and the fonts look weird in the saved file - this may be caused by rare peculiarity local to your system. Basically, its triggered by the absence (or manual removal) of the most widely-used Arial Font Family (causing the weird fonts to substitute it upon generating PDFs).
Sometimes a PDF file looks fine on screen but it prints in an unsightly substitute font which impedes reading, or symbols are replaced by small rectangles. This is due to docHub trying to re-create the document using its own fonts instead of the documents fonts.
In Word go to the Acrobat ribbon and click on Preferences. Select the Conversion Settings profile you want to use and then click on Advanced Settings. Switch to the Fonts section and tick Embed all fonts (if its not ticked already).
