To embed fonts in docHub Illustrator, follow these steps when exporting your file. Go to File and click Save a Copy. Select docHub PDF (pdf) as the format, click Save. In the Save docHub PDF dialog box, go to the docHub PDF Preset option and select PDF / X-1a; 2001.
Embed fonts in a document or presentation Open the file you want to embed fonts in. On the application (PowerPoint or Word) menu, select Preferences. In the dialog box, under Output and Sharing, select Save. Under Font Embedding, select Embed fonts in the file.
OpenOffice uses the fonts that are installed in your system. Add new fonts using the Font management tools for your Operating System (for example in Microsoft Windows, you add new fonts via Start Settings Fonts).
Open the PDF in docHub Reader or docHub. Navigate to File Properties. Click the Fonts tab. If a font has the phrase (Embedded Subset) after the font name, then embedding is allowed.
Click on Fonts, then make sure the fonts you need to embed are on the fonts source list. If so, tick the box at the top that says Embed all fonts. 8. If they are not, then you will need to close the pop up window and either move or duplicate the fonts files from where you have stored them to C:/Windows/Fonts.
Confirm Fonts are Embedded are in your PDF: Open the file using docHub Reader or Acrobat Pro. Go to File Properties. Select Fonts and verify that all fonts show (Embedded Subset)
All TrueType and OpenType fonts have embedding permissions encoded within them, these are typically set by the fonts supplier, and are defined as part of the OpenType font file specification.
More Information On the Tools menu, click Options. Click the Save tab. Select the Embed TrueType fonts check box.
