hi and welcome to omnis how to series with monday.com so many of you already know that there is a created date column this we use of course to see when a certain item is created but what this item is not very good for is automation so what i usually do instead is i create my own so lets have a look at my screen instead of me going for this column the creation log i just add in a completely normal date and i can name it creation date then i build an automation for this new automation can use a recipe but lets create a custom one and when the item is created i use that as my trigger i want to set a date the date is the creation date and set it to today and today means not today but the day the automation triggers and just create my automation now i have a date that i can actually use for further on automations and some such best of luck thanks for watching
