Hi everyone, Kevin here. Today I want to show you how you can create your very own fillable form using Microsoft Word. First off, what is a fillable form? You can have people go in and fill out a form, but they wont be able to edit the questions or the structure of the form. You can use things like check boxes, text fields, drop down lists, date pickers, to build your form. Once someones finished completing your form, they can e-mail it back, they could print it out, or you could even connect it to a database. Connecting to a database is outside of the scope of todays tutorial. Its kind of like an docHub PDF form, but its Microsofts version of it. Ive included sample files today if you want to follow along, otherwise lets jump on the PC and lets get started. Here I am in Microsoft Word and to be able to do this first you need a Word document that you want to transform into a form. Here I have an order form for the Kevin Cookie Company. Types of Construction Embeds They are used to anchor heavy fixtures, machinery, or structural components to concrete. Threaded rods are versatile and offer adjustable installation options.
This consists in filling the floated surfaces faces with the same stucco putty, eliminating ripples and compressing the material. An even facing is achieved using this technique, increasing the mortars compactness to prevent possible fissures.
Typically, embedment length is referred to as the distance the rebar is inserted into the concrete on a particular placement. Often, when you are building a concrete structure of some kind, you dont place all of the concrete at once.
An Embed Plate is a rectangular piece of steel with welding studs attached that have a head bigger than the studs diameter. They are placed into the forms when reinforced concrete is to be poured. Once the concrete gets poured, the studs are embedded in it, then the plate is flush with the surface on the concrete.
Any structural member, plate, angle, channel, pipe sleeve or other section anchored to a concrete structure through direct bond or other anchors is an Embedded Part.
Steel Embed Plates are used to attach concrete structures to steel framework. Also called Concrete Embeds, they are a vital component in the construction industry and the best way to connect steel to concrete. Embed plates are custom made to order and usually ship within 5 days.
An embed plate is cast in the concrete during the pour phase and then a coupling nut or threaded rod is welded to the plate later.
