(Click the Show / Hide button in the Word toolbar to view paragraph marks.) To insert an existing clause in the template, position your cursor where you want the clause inserted and click the INSERT Field button. Then select the clause by clicking the Clause to insert drop-down button.
Embedded clauses are placed within the main clause in a sentence. They do not make sense as stand-alone sentences, unlike main clauses. For example: The giraffe, who was the tallest in the zoo, towered over the other animals.
Open the file you want to embed fonts in. On the application (PowerPoint or Word) menu, select Preferences. In the dialog box, under Output and Sharing, select Save. Under Font Embedding, select Embed fonts in the file.

Linking refers to inserting a reference to a file in another location, while embedding refers to inserting the actual file in the document. An example of linking is inserting a chart from an Excel file into a PowerPoint presentation, while an example of embedding is inserting an image into a Word document.
Select the text or object you want to use as a selectable hyperlink. Right-click and then select Link. Under Link to, click Place in This Document. In the list, select the heading or bookmark that you want to link to.
