Youre all set! Go to the Google Maps website. Search for the location you want to feature in your embedded map. Click Share. Click Embed a map to see a preview of the embed. When ready to embed, click Copy HTML. In your HTML file, paste the embed code where you want the map to appear on the page.
Embed map lets you place an interactive map frame on your site with simple HTML (by adding URL). You can put a single marker on it.
Costs. All Maps Embed API requests are available at no charge with unlimited usage.
Add a place On your computer, sign in to My Maps. Open or create a map. A map can have up to 10,000 lines, shapes, or places. Click Add marker . Select a layer and click where to put the place. A layer can have 2,000 lines, shapes, or places. Give your place a name. Click Save.
Note: Traffic and other Maps info is sometimes not available in the embedded map. Open Google Maps. Go to the directions, map, or Street View image youd like to embed. In the top left, click Menu. Click Share or embed map. Click Embed map. To the left of the text box, pick the size you want by clicking the Down arrow.
How to embed a Google Map into a web page Go to Google maps. In the Search Google Maps text box, type in the address of the location you want to display on your web page. When the map appears, click on the Share icon. Select the Embed tab on the Share window. Click on Copy HTML.
Share a map or location with others On your computer, open Google Maps. Go to the part of the map that you want to share. At the top left, click Menu . Click Share or embed map. Select any of these options: To share a link through email or text: Click Send a link. Copy link.
Get the embed code: Go to Google maps. When the map appears, click on the Share icon. Select the Embed tab on the Share window. Click on Copy HTML. Open the web page (in WordPress) where you want to embed the map.
