all righty so were gonna be using a paper plate to construct a unit circle and were going to start by basically folding the paper plate in half and its best to use the kind of plates that dont have a film on them because if youre gonna be drawing on them with pen or marker you dont want it to smear so were gonna fold it in half once and then fold it in half again and actually fold it into quarters if thats easier give it a nice crease unfold it and then I would recommend either using a marker or colored pencils and then use a ruler to help draw your axes actually theyre supposed to be and so when youre talking to students you want to make sure that they recognize obviously one of these is gonna be the x-axis one is going to be the y-axis and dont expect it to be perfect because as theyre folding I think actually Im looking at this and I can see that it doesnt look like its a perfect 90-degree angle but what can you do so at this point what youll want to do is talk about
