Hi everyone, Kevin here. Today I want to show you how you can create your very own fillable form using Microsoft Word. First off, what is a fillable form? You can have people go in and fill out a form, but they wont be able to edit the questions or the structure of the form. You can use things like check boxes, text fields, drop down lists, date pickers, to build your form. Once someones finished completing your form, they can e-mail it back, they could print it out, or you could even connect it to a database. Connecting to a database is outside of the scope of todays tutorial. Its kind of like an docHub PDF form, but its Microsofts version of it. Ive included sample files today if you want to follow along, otherwise lets jump on the PC and lets get started. Here I am in Microsoft Word and to be able to do this first you need a Word document that you want to transform into a form. Here I have an order form for the Kevin Cookie Company. To follow along, once

For extremely secure passwords, it may be desired to use unicode characters via ALT Codes. Press and hold the ALT key, type 2 3 4 on the numeric keypad, then release the ALT key.
Inserting ASCII characters To insert an ASCII character, press and hold down ALT while typing the character code. For example, to insert the degree () symbol, press and hold down ALT while typing 0176 on the numeric keypad. You must use the numeric keypad to type the numbers, and not the keyboard.
A code point (also known as character code) is a numerical representation of a specific Unicode character. In JavaScript, String#charCodeAt() can be used to get the numeric Unicode code point of any character up to U+FFFF (i.e. the character with code point 0xFFFF , which is 65535 in decimal).
You can enter any Unicode character in an HTML file by taking its decimal numeric character reference and adding an ampersand and a hash at the front and a semi-colon at the end, for example #8212; should display as an em dash ().
Use charset utf-8 ( meta-charset-utf-8 ) Its backwards compatible and works in all known browsers, so it should always be used over the old . The charset value should be utf-8 , not any other values such as utf8 .
Unicode code points range from 0 to 1114111 ( 0x10FFFF ). The first 128 Unicode code points are a direct match of the ASCII character encoding. (For information on Unicode, see UTF-16 characters, Unicode codepoints, and grapheme clusters.) Note: charCodeAt() will always return a value that is less than 65536 .
Special characters like em dashes or section marks () Click or tap where you want to insert the special character. Go to Insert Symbol More Symbols. Go to Special Characters. Double-click the character that you want to insert. Select Close.
Inserting Unicode characters To insert a Unicode character, type the character code, press ALT, and then press X. For example, to type a dollar symbol ($), type 0024, press ALT, and then press X. For more Unicode character codes, see Unicode character code charts by script.
Unicode character literals To print Unicode characters, enter the escape sequence u. Unicode sequences can be used everywhere in Java code. As long as it contains Unicode characters, it can be used as an identifier.
In Javascript, the identifiers and string literals can be expressed in Unicode via a Unicode escape sequence. The general syntax is \uX , where X denotes four hexadecimal digits. For example, the letter o is denoted as o in Unicode.
