hey everybody and welcome to another learn to digitize video I am su from oml embroidery today we are working in hatch a new embroidered program by will come so all the power of will come in an easy-to-use form and something that you can afford and so far its absolutely awesome I found out something really cool today were talking about lettering and I found something really cool today about lettering that not a lot of embroidery programs have and its right here insert character and you may wonder what that means but thats for glyphs and a lot of programs and even graphic programs you have to use something called able to bring it all up and theres these little itty-bitty tiny things and you can hardly see what youre doing this makes it a lot easier so for those people that are in love with the Samantha font and they want ligatures and they want swirly things how do you do it its usually pretty difficult to come up with it until now and really seriously its awesome so lets just

Insert a Special Character Place the cursor where you want to insert a special character. Click Insert on the menu bar. Select Special characters. A dialog box opens up, where you can select a special character. Locate a special character in the search box. Click a special character. Click Close.
Go to Insert Symbol More Symbols. Go to Special Characters. Double-click the character that you want to insert. Select Close.
All you need to do is hold down the Alt key as you type that character code. When you release the Alt key, Word inserts the symbol in the document. Another approach is to simply type the four Unicode characters and then press Alt+X, which converts the character code to the symbol.
Inserting ASCII characters To insert an ASCII character, press and hold down ALT while typing the character code. For example, to insert the degree () symbol, press and hold down ALT while typing 0176 on the numeric keypad. You must use the numeric keypad to type the numbers, and not the keyboard.
Click the Insert top menu option or the Insert tab. Select the Symbol option in the Insert menu or click the Symbol option on the Insert tab. If the desired symbol isnt seen, click More Symbols. Select the letter in the symbol list with the accent mark you want to use and click the Insert button.
Inserting Unicode Characters Type the character code where you want to insert the Unicode symbol. Press ALT+X to convert the code to the symbol. If youre placing your Unicode character immediately after another character, select just the code before pressing ALT+X.
