Or, to create an additional chapter, follow these steps: Click where you want to insert the new chapter heading and insert a page break (see Section and Page Breaks). In the Styles Pane, click Heading 1 style. The word Chapter and the chapter number will appear.
Whether you put the chapter number and title on one line or two, use capitals or upper and lower case, is up to you, as long as youre consistent throughout. After your chapter title, start the chapter body three to five lines below. Again, whatever choice you make, ensure its consistent with each chapter.
To use automatic video chapters: Sign in to YouTube Studio. From the left menu, select Content. Click the video that youd like to edit. Click SHOW MORE and under Automatic Chapters select Allow automatic chapters and key moments. By default, this box will be checked for all new uploads. Click SAVE.
Select the text or object you want to use as a selectable hyperlink. Right-click and then select Link. Under Link to, click Place in This Document. In the list, select the heading or bookmark that you want to link to.
In the Caption dialog box click Numbering. Select the Include chapter number check box. In the Chapter starts with style list, select the heading style that was applied to the chapter heading. In the Use separator list, select a punctuation mark to separate the chapter number from the caption number.
Click the Format button. Note: In Word 2007 and Word 2010, click Format Page Numbers. Click to check the Include chapter number box. In Chapter starts with style, click Heading 1, and then click OK.
Captioning Key - Numbers Unless otherwise specified below, spell out all numbers from one to ten, but use numerals for all numbers over ten. Spell out any number that begins a sentence as well as any related numbers. Spell out casual, nonemphatic numbers. Numerals with four digits can either have a comma or not.
