To represent a number (positive or negative) in excess 27, begin by taking the number in unsigned binary representation. Then add 27 (=128) to that number. For example, 7 would be 128 + 7=135, or 27+22+21+20, and, in binary,10000111. We would represent -7 as 128-7=121, and, in binary, 01111001.
Converting Decimal to Binary: Algorithm in C Save the remainder within an array. Step 2: Divide the remainder value by 2. To convert an integer to binary divide the number by 2 until it becomes 0. In each step take the modulo by 2 and store the remainder into an array or stack. If we store the remainder into an array then print it into reverse order. If we store the remainder into a stack then simply pop one by one element and print it.
We create an InputStream object using the FileInputStream and specify the file name. We use the read() method to read binary data from input stream storing each byte in an integer variable. We convert each byte to its corresponding ASCII character using the typecasting and print it to console.
In computer applications, where binary numbers are represented by only two symbols or digits, i.e. 0 (zero) and 1(one). The binary numbers here are expressed in the base-2 numeral system. For example, (101)2 is a binary number. Each digit in this system is said to be a bit.
