Iamp;#39;m here in a Word document and Iamp;#39;ve got my name down at the bottom here in this document and itamp;#39;s automatically picking it up from the file properties of this document and you can see itamp;#39;s at the lower left hand side of each page itamp;#39;s in the footer I could have it centered I could have it right aligned I could have it in my document I could have it in the header as well so just how do I get it in there so that it does it automatically so what Iamp;#39;m going to do is just going to insert on my tab at the top here youamp;#39;ll see Iamp;#39;ve got my footer in the header and footer section Iamp;#39;m just going to click in there go to edit footer and Iamp;#39;m just going to delete that Iamp;#39;m just going to highlight it and just get rid of it thatamp;#39;s gone so thereamp;#39;s two ways I can put this in and both of them are done through the quick Parts option here your youamp;#39;ll find it in header and footer tools in the design

Insert a watermark on just one page Select where you want the watermark to be on the page. Select Design Watermark right-click the watermark you want, and select Insert at Current Document Position. The watermark appears as a text box.
On the Design tab, select Watermark Custom Watermark. Choose Picture Watermark and select a picture, or choose Text watermark and type your watermark text in the Text box. Click OK.
Add logo to letterhead on Microsoft Word: Click Insert, then on the Insert menu click Header. Choose a style; we suggest the blank layout so you can add a photo. In the Header menu, click Pictures. Select your PNG file. Resize the image ing to your specifications by dragging the circles in the corner of your image.
Youll need to open the header to select the watermark. Double-click near the top of the page to open the header. Click the watermark to select it. (Try moving the cursor over the watermark until the cursor displays a four-headed arrow.) Drag the watermark where you want it on the page.
Add or edit an image watermark On your computer, open a document in Google Docs. Go to Insert. Watermark. In the panel on the right, click Image. Click Select image . Select an image from Drive, Photos, a URL, or your camera. Optional: In the panel on the right, you can format your watermark. Click Done.
Why cant I add a watermark to my Word document? You cannot add watermarks to Word documents when they are set in Web Layout mode. Watermarks can only be added when the Word document is set to Print Layout mode. You can change them at the right bottom of the document near the magnification toolbar.
On the Design tab, select Watermark. In the Insert Watermark dialog, select Text and either type your own watermark text or select one, like DRAFT, from the list. Then, customize the watermark by setting the font, layout, size, colors, and orientation. If you dont see the watermark, click View Print Layout.
