hi in this video weamp;#39;re going to show you how to get around the problem in Microsoft Word when you paste an address from a web page into word and it paste it as the title of the page rather than the address text itself so let me show you an example so if we go to this Microsoft page here office for Office 365 copy it go into word would paste it now you can see itamp;#39;s the title of the page rather than the text and of course you know you could right click on it edit it and then change this to match by copy and pasting that in there like that but of course thatamp;#39;s a pain thatamp;#39;s an extra step so you think to fix this youamp;#39;d have to go change some settings in word but itamp;#39;s actually not a word problem itamp;#39;s an edge problem so if youamp;#39;re using Microsoft Edge this is probably youamp;#39;re probably having this problem because if we do it in Chrome same page here copy this paste it into word here you see we got the uh link or address its

Use Mail Merge to automatically add mailing addresses or other personalized information to your publications. On the Mailings tab, click Mail Merge Step-by-Step Mail Merge Wizard. In the Mail Merge pane, under Create recipient list, select one: Click Next: Create or connect to a recipient list.
Linking refers to inserting a reference to a file in another location, while embedding refers to inserting the actual file in the document. An example of linking is inserting a chart from an Excel file into a PowerPoint presentation, while an example of embedding is inserting an image into a Word document.
Embed the content While youre connected to the Internet, paste the URL into a Word for the web document. When Word for the web recognizes the hyperlink, it automatically embeds the content. You can the play it right from the document using the websites controls for play, pause, volume, etc.
In your Word document: Highlight the text in which the URL should be embedded (usually the citation itself or the document title, such as Alias Grace) Go to the Insert menu (or press Control K) to open the Insert Hyperlink dialogue box. Paste the URL into the Address box. Press OK or hit Enter.
Embedded objects become part of the Word file or email message and, after they are inserted, they are no longer connected to any source file. Linked objects can be updated if the source file is modified. Linked data is stored in the source file.
Embed or link to a file in Word Go to Insert Object. Select Create from File. Select Browse and choose the file you want to use. Select Insert. Choose Display as icon to embed, or Link to file for a link. Select OK.
If you want to insert an address, select the Address check box, then highlight the specific address you want to insert. The mailing address for a contact has an envelope icon ( ) next to it. You can highlight multiple items in a block by holding the Ctrl or Shift key.
