MJ demonstrates how to scan documents as a PDF using an Android phone without the need for a separate app. By using Google Drive, users can easily scan documents by opening the app, selecting the scan option, and using the rear camera to capture the document. Users can also adjust settings such as image enhancement, paper size, and paper orientation for higher quality scans.

File Size Is Too Large The most common reason scan to email can fail is because the size of the file you are creating is too large for the file size limit assigned to your email account. Almost every email account has a maximum file size to successfully send an email.
How to scan documents on your iPhone or iPad Open Notes and select a note or create a new one. Tap the Camera button , then tap Scan Documents . Place your document in view of the camera. If your device is in Auto mode, your document will automatically scan. Tap Save or add additional scans to the document.
Send your documents from your Android with PDF software. Open the Acrobat app. Navigate to the PDF you wish to send. Tap the send icon on the top right portion of the screen. In the new dialog box, you have the option to share via email, or you can send a copy via Messages or other third-party apps such as WhatsApp.
Scan documents as PDFs on an Android device and open the Drive app. Tap New. Scan . When youre done scanning, tap OK. (Optional) To scan multiple pages, tap Bulk add. OK. Tap Save. Enter a name for the file, choose a Drive account to save the file to and a Drive folder, and tap Save.
To start, youll want to be sure youre accessing this feature from either the iCloud or On My iPhone folder in your Folders list in Notes. Third-party accounts, like Gmail or Outlook, wont show the option to scan a document in Notes.
Using the Files app Open the Files app. Tap the three dots in the top right-hand corner of your screen and select Scan Documents. Scan your document, then tap Browse at the bottom of your screen. Find and select your file, then tap the Share icon in the bottom-left corner. Select the Mail app to email your file.
How to scan a document to email on Windows Connect your scanner (or multifunctional printer) to your device. Scan and save your documents. Right-click your chosen documents, then choose Send to. Choose your recipients email address and write a new email for the files to attach to.
By default, Scanner relies on the Apples Mail app to send scans via email. If scans cant be sent from Scanner, this is most likely because the Mail app is not installed, properly configured, or your email is simply stuck in the Outbox.
