3 steps to convert a scanned PDF to an editable file. Open your scanned PDF file in Acrobat. Choose Tools Edit PDF. OCR (Optical Character Recognition) is automatically applied to your document, converting it to a fully editable copy of your PDF.
For the current message: Choose Edit Attachments Insert Attachments at End. For all messages: From the Message viewer, choose Edit Attachments Always Insert Attachments at End of Message (a checkmark shows its on).
Attach the scanned document to the email by clicking the Attach or Paperclip icon in your email client. Choose the scanned document file from your computer and attach it to the email. Enter the recipients email address and any other necessary information. Send the email.
Via Gmail Scan the document using a scanning device. Save the scanned document to your computer. Open your Gmail account with your web browser or email application. Click the Compose button to create a new email. Click the Attach button (the paperclip) and select the scanned document from your computer or mobile.
Using a printers scan-to-email feature Put your document on the scanning bed or into the document feeder. Choose Scan to Email in the menu and press Scan. Enter the recipients email address. Click Send to send the file. You should then receive a confirmation message.
Convert your scans to PDF format. For Windows, open your scans and navigate to File then Print. In the drop-down menu for Printer, select Microsoft Print to PDF. For Mac, open your scans and navigate to File then Print. Be sure to save your PDF scans in a location you will remember.
Scanned files and photos are saved by default on your Mac devices pictures folder. Here is how to access the Pictures folder using Finder on Mac: Go to Finder and then select Home. You can find the photographs folder when the Home pane in Finder appears.
How to convert JPG files and scanned documents to PDF: Open the file in Acrobat. Click on the Enhance Scans tool in the right pane. Choose the file you want to convert: To begin, choose Select a file and click Start. Edit your PDF: Click on the Correct Suspects icon (magnifying glass). Save as new PDF file:
