Why does my PDF not display correctly?
An outdated or corrupted browser cache is a common reason for elements on a web page, including PDFs, to not display correctly. Clearing your browser cache should prompt your browser to download up to date content and hopefully fix the issue with rendering your PDFs properly.
Why does Firefox not ask where to download PDF?
You need to go into Tools - Settings - General and set the Action for the types of downloads to Always Ask for those types you want it to. If its set to just Save File then it just saves it in whatever the download directory youve set is.
Why is Firefox not displaying PDF files correctly?
Update the Version of Firefox. Some users from the docHub community reported that the PDF cannot be displayed correctly issue can be solved by updating Firefox to the latest version. How do I change PDF settings in Firefox?
Type about:preferences in the Firefox Address Bar. This will bring up options. On the General Page, scroll down to Applications. To the right of Portable Document Format (PDF) select the drop down and choose docHub.
How do I view PDF files in Firefox?
In the General panel, go down to the Applications section. Find Portable Document Format (PDF) in the list and click the entry to select it. Click the arrow under the Action column for the above entry and select the PDF viewer you wish to use from the drop-down menu.
Why are all my PDFs opening in Firefox?
This is the default setting. When you click a link to a PDF file or open it from the Firefox Downloads panel, it will be rendered with the built-in PDF viewer. (To learn more about the built-in viewer, see below.) The built-in PDF viewer will open the PDF file in Firefox without saving it.
