[Music] hey everybody im making this video so that if youre doing your html coding on a mac and youre using text edit youll need to make these adjustments for it to be able to work open text edit it looks like a piece of paper with lines on it with a pencil or a pen in it and thats text edit when you click on it you get opportunities to open previous documents or create a new document but what i want to show you is in preferences so if you click on where it says text edit up at the top once youve got it open and go to preferences there are two things you need to be sure are set correctly so the first thing is under new document you have to make sure this is set to plain text if its set to rich text or wrap to page that wont work if your text is really small and you want to change the character size you can change it down here versus plain text font click change its set for helvetica 14 so if i click change i can actually get this dialog box i can choose whatever font i want t
