hey everybody its beyond from WP Learning Lab in this video Im going to show you how to remove the edit option underneath the appearance menu and in case you dont know what that option does I will show it to you right now when youre in your WordPress dashboard go and hover over appearance on the left and then scroll down to the very bottom options usually the last one and its called editor and what this editor allows you to do is edit any of your theme files inside of your WordPress admin so as you scroll down the right-hand side or as I scroll down you can see all the files that are part of the theme and you can edit all of them and if the hacker brute forces your site and theyre able to come here and edit all your files thats bad for business conversely if youre building the site for a client and theyre able to come in here and mess around their files and they dont really know what theyre doing thats bad for them and then youll be getting a phone call late at night askin
