Create customized templates for your invoices, estimates, and sales receipts. You can also save multiple templates for each type, choose a default, or switch between them. Important: The Standard default template represents all your forms.
Under the Design tab, you can change the colors, font style, and logo. In the Content tab, you can add or remove fields and customize your invoices wording. In the Emails tab, you can change your invoice online delivery options. Click Done to save your changes.
Navigate to the Work tab at the top of the screen and select Invoicing from the drop-down menu. Select the relevant invoice from the list. Before you can change the theme of an invoice, the invoice must be in draft status. Change the theme.
Select the item you want to edit, then select the Pencil ✎ icon. Select Custom fields. Select Define Fields. For each new custom field, enter the name of the field, then select the Use checkbox.
Create a custom template From the left menu, under Your Practice, select Work. Select Manage templates. Select Create template and enter a template name. Select Repeat to set up repeated due dates, and use the fields that appear to specify the interval between due dates.
What should be included on an invoice for freelancers Your name and contact information. Your clients name. Invoice number. Date of invoice issuance. Work order number or job code number. Payment due date. Current payment status. A description of your work or services rendered.
You can select a different template for specific transactions directly from the form: Create or open an existing invoice, sales receipt, or estimate. Select Customize in the footer. Select a custom template from the list. Select Save and close.
Edit an invoice template Click the organisation name, then select Settings. Click Invoice settings. Find the template you want to edit, click Options, then select Edit. Make your changes. Click Save.
