hello Internet welcome back to our displacement tessellation map thing so what were gonna be doing in this video is we are going to be taking our current tessellation shader its black right now which is probably not the best let me just give you an idea of whats going on we have this tessellation shader that is taking our quad currently and it is tessellating it which is breaking up each of those vertices or each of the edges of that and its actually making a number of additional vertices inside of it so from a simple quad this is just at unities default quad with Collider removed with that were able to actually just get this really complex thing and then the idea is were gonna apply a displacement map to it and actually indent the thing instead of doing it manually so what we have is we just have this really basic eye thing and all its doing is its generating a 2d texture that currently is just black so what we want to do is actually modify that so that we can get the UV coor
