hi Im Shannon grocery with versa toss software training and Im here to show you how to edit a table of contents in Word so I have a document set up and I do have a table of contents but Im going to show you some things you can do to change it if I click in the table of contents you can see that it is something that is an extra field thats been input into Word and if I want to make changes to it I can come here to the reference tab and on the far left I have a drop-down arrow table of contents some things I can do to change that would be to change the built-in style so I can maybe choose this manual table option and as you can see I can fill in any kind of information I want there or I can go up to contents which is what I think I had before but I might want to change the items that I see in the table of contents so at this point I see under our services a few services and I might not want those in my table of contents they got pulled in because its by default pulling in up to thre

To edit a table in Excel, simply follow these steps: Open your Excel spreadsheet. Select the table you want to edit. Click the Design tab in the Table Tools panel. Make changes to the tables style, such as font size and color, border thickness and color, table alignment, and other options.
On the left-pane, select + (Insert) Layout Blank vertical gallery. Select the table from Dataverse as the data source. Resize the gallery to take over remaining half of the entire canvas since this gallery will contain all editable columns from the data source. Select Edit gallery.
Apply a table style to an existing table Select any cell in the table. Select Design. In the Table Styles gallery, select the table style you want to apply. Note: To remove a table style, select Design. In the Table Styles gallery, select More, and then select Clear or Clear Table.
Edit a table. While viewing tables, select the table you want to edit, and then select Properties from the command bar if you want to edit the table properties.
Select OK. Insert a table in your spreadsheet. See Overview of Excel tables for more information. Select a cell within your data. Select Home Format as Table. Choose a style for your table. In the Create Table dialog box, set your cell range. Mark if your table has headers. Select OK.
Example In the dropdown list at the top of the Table edit visual, select a dimension. At the top of the page, select (+) to add a row. In the Name field, enter a name for the new scenario. In the Description field, enter a description. Repeat steps 2 through 4 to add the Forecast downside scenario. Select Save.
In the worksheet, click the cell that contains the title or data label text that you want to change. Edit the existing contents, or type the new text or value, and then press ENTER.
If you try to use Edit mode and nothing happens, it might be disabled. You can enable or disable Edit mode by changing an Excel option. Click File Options Advanced. , click Excel Options, and then click the Advanced category.
