How do I request a travel signature for IU?

To get a travel signature, make a request through Atlas at least two weeks before you plan to travel, and bring your I-20 to OIA. Travel signatures are valid for one calendar year or until the completion of your program, whichever comes first. Once you have returned to the U.S., be sure to check your I-94 information.

What happens if you dont have travel signature?

What happens if I try to enter the United States without a valid travel signature? If you arrive at a US port of entry without all the required documents, the customs officer may deny you entry into US. As an alternative, the officer may issue you an I-515A. This document allows you temporary admission into the US.

Does I-20 have to be signed in blue ink?

When you receive an I-20, you must read page 2 of the document, then sign page 1 confirming you have read and understood the regulations and use of the document. The Designated School Official at the College should also have signed the I-20 in blue ink to make it valid.
