This quick video tutorial will show you how to add quotes to your email signature, with four examples. Click on the signature section, and choose a signature to edit. In the first example, you can see how to add a quote block in the signature header. Note that you can insert an image or icon to highlight the quote. But in this quick example, we only add styles to the text. Save the signature,so you dont lose the information. Similarly, this second example shows how to add a quote to the email signature footer. It is also possible to change the background color to create a contrast. You can see how to apply a side border to just the quote line in this third example, showing that you can use multiple designs in an email signature. And finally, how to add a quote below a logo image. Save the signature,so you dont lose the information.

Below are some common questions from our customers that may provide you with the answer you're looking for. If you can't find an answer to your question, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

A quote should include: Your business name and address. The customers name and address. A unique quote number. The quote issue date. The quote expiry date. The description and prices of the products/services. The total amount of the sale.
Where should the quote go in the email signature? Add your quote in a line below your basic contact information. Its best to put it here because it means the recipient wont be distracted from reading the quote before getting your key details.
An exact quote should be in quotation marks ( ), or if the quotation is 40 words or more, should be formatted as a block quotation. Then you put an In-Text Citation right after the quotation to show where the quote came from.
Ensure you get either a signature or written confirmation from the customer that they wish to proceed. Do this before you start any work or order materials. A quote, once accepted by the customer, becomes a legally binding contract.
If the customer hasnt yet signed and accepted the quote, then you can void or withdraw it as no binding agreement has been made. However, as soon as a customer has signed it, you are legally bound to honour that agreement, unless changes are agreed upon.
Leave any inspirational quotes on the road, and never include them in your email signatures, especially work email signatures. Its cheesy and unprofessional, just like sharing cat memes on LinkedIn. So, keep personal information and attitudes on a need-to-know basis.
Enable e-signatures on a quote In your HubSpot account, navigate to Commerce Quotes. Click the name of a draft quote, or create a new quote. In the bottom right of the quote editor, click Next until youve navigated to the Signature Payment step. Under Signature options, select Use e-signature.
Scroll down to Signature in the Settings tab. Choose the signature to add a quote to, or create a new signature. Check out our signature quotes suggestions. Add a great quote you like, and use quotation marks to make it understood to be a quote, and dont forget to attribute the quote to whoever coined it.
