hello non-profit rockstars and heroes this is tom cech with greater impact consulting and today we are talking about how to save your users time when they need to update multiple records at once today specifically were talking about how to use mass inline editing from list views this is a way where when you need to update the same field to the same information on multiple records its an easy fast way to do that you can do it for up to 200 records at a time so if you need to update thousands of records this is probably not the best way to do it but it is still far faster than going into each record and editing them individually so lets log into salesforce real quick and take a peek at what were working with so heres a list view of contacts for this demo and if i go over to this title field youll see that when i put my mouse over it ive got this pencil icon and that pencil icon tells me that i can edit that field inline right here on this screen so i dont have to open the record
