all right so today i want to look at pii and data quality and kind of to kill two birds with one stone a quick shortcut how you can a identify where pii exists and then b get the appropriate controls wrapped around those columns the things like regex checks formatting checks you know all those things that you need to do to make sure its input its stored properly so let me move my face out of the way so well get started you know with a now check navigate your favorite connection you can do that on the left-hand panel by clicking any of the data sources that have been mapped but we wont spend too much time on that today well kind of go from left to right across the top here and theres one section i want to call out which is our profiling section so as i move from left to right i want to show you click semantic on so ill zoom in for a moment but if we look at semantic detection what this does is enable a matching algorithm so anywhere we see emails anywhere we see social security

If you know your e-mail address and password, you can use them to log into the Get Information section of the UTORid Management page. Your UTORid will be the first piece of information displayed. Alternatively, if you have a TCard, your UTORid can be found on the left side of your TCard, just above the barcode.
You change or delete your display first name using . If you no longer wish to be known by your chosen display first name, you must save a blank entry over your display first name. To do this, simply backspace over the display name and then save an empty field.
To change/update your legal/primary name on file, you will need to submit a Service Request through your student/alumni portal. No request for change of name will be processed without acceptable documents. Acceptable documents are defined as follows: Birth certificate.
Colleges monitor students who transfer in, not out, so you only need to contact the Associate Registrar of the college you are interested in transferring to. Email or submit a letter requesting a transfer (remember to include your name and student number) detailing why you want to switch colleges.
The University of Toronto has a way for students to have their name and/or gender changed on their academic records and ACORN. Go to your Registrars Office and request the Change of Name or Gender Request Form. You are able to change your name and/or your gender without legal documentation.
To change your chosen/preferred first name, visit WatIAM. You must provide a suitable legal document (see list below) or provide a signed Statutory Declaration Form (PDF) that justifies your legal name change. Note: Removal of a middle name(s) does not require documentation or a statutory declaration.
Go to utorid.utoronto.ca to make changes and change your email address. You can also change your display name, ie. the name that appears with your account on your email and other online services. Please note that this can take up to 24 hours for the change to take effect.
