Assigning a system password and setup password To enter the system setup, press F2 immediately after a power-on or re-boot. In the System BIOS or System Setup screen, select Security and press Enter. The Security screen is displayed. Select System Password and create a password in the Enter the new password field.

Reset your Windows 11 or Windows 10 operating system At the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot. At the Troubleshoot screen, select Reset this personal computer. At the Reset this PC screen, select Keep my files. Select your user account, and enter the password if prompted. Select Reset.
2021 Dell XPS – Boot from USB – with video Turn off the laptop. Plug in your USB operating system. Turn on the laptop. Press F12. A boot option screen will appear, select the USB drive to boot.
