now were going to continue on with text formatting Im gonna show changing colors adding some paragraph space after and other settings for text so Im on my postcard begin document and I dont need these guides anymore so I will click once to highlight this guide when its highlighted itll be more blue than saya and Ill just press Delete or backspace click again on this next one delete or backspace and Ill double click to get inside the text box I want to make this line that says Anais Nin a different font so I can drag to highlight and its always safer when you drag to highlight text to start inside the box somewhere if you try to start at the beginning or the left edge you may accidentally build a second text box so Ill undo that and an even safer way to select an entire line is triple click two clicks always highlights a word three clicks always highlights a line and Im gonna make this myriad Pro so Ill type my are four myriad Pro you can also click the arrows here to choose

One way to edit a Paragraph, Character, Object, Table, or Cell Style is to go to the panel and double-click the style. However, if something is selected in the document, that style will be applied. Another way is to right-click (PC) or Control -click (Mac) the style and choose Edit [style name] .
Put the cursor anywhere in the desired paragraph. Press Alt+Shift+Up or Alt+Shift+Down to move the paragraph up or down the page one paragraph at a time.
Update a paragraph style In the Format sidebar, do one of the following: If theres an Update button: Click Update. If theres only an asterisk: Click the style name, then move the pointer over the style name in the Paragraph Styles pop-up menu. Click the arrow that appears, then choose Redefine from Selection.
Hold the Shift Alt keys down and use the Up or Down arrows to move the paragraph further up or further down on the page.
Modify an existing style Select text in your document that has the style applied, such as Heading 1. Format the selected text with the new attributes that you want. On the Home tab, in the Styles group, right-click the style that you want to change, and then click Update [Style Name] to Match Selection.
Changing Paragraph Order Put a number as the first character in each paragraph. Select all the paragraphs you want to reorder. Display the Home tab of the ribbon. In the Paragraph group, click the Sort tool. Make sure you are sorting by Paragraph and that the sort type is Number. Click on OK.
On the Home ribbon, in the style section, look for Normal. Right click on Normal, then select Modify. Review the settings. Make adjustments as needed in the Modify Style window, or by clicking on Format Font or Format Paragraph for more details.
