[Music] if your managers have allowed you to add and edit your own shifts you can go to my schedule click on any shift youve been assigned when you click on the shift to see the details youll find an edit shift button click there and make any changes that you might need to make and click save youll then see those changes updated on the schedule if you need to add a new shift go to the add shift button in the upper left here youll see a blank shift you need to select a position and then enter the hours you can enter paid hours which means how many hours youll be paid for working or you can let the system auto calculate the exact length of the shift this is an 8 hour shift but if you knew that youre going to have a half hour unpaid lunch you could enter 7.5 paid hours and uncheck the auto calculate box this means that the system will use the number 7.5 instead of the actual length of the shift choose which days this week youll be working that shift if youd like it to display in

When writing care notes, they should be concise and quick to the point. They shouldnt contain any type of jargon, abbreviations or acronyms. This could lead to confusion and misunderstandings when going through notes. Ensure that the notes are easy to read and understand for everyone involved in the clients care.
In the pop-up box that shows the shift detail, click on the more action button then select add notes. Choose the care notes types (progress notes, enquiry, feedback, incident, injury or mileage) from the drop-down menu on the dialogue box that opens.
How to manage shift work? Know the work requirements. Use the right tools to create and manage shifts. Create the schedules in advance. Communicate properly. Automate the shift management process. Track your employees time. Analyse the reports.
Here are some important guidelines to consider when making progress notes: Progress notes should be recorded at the end of every shift. Progress notes can be written by hand or typed. Write down events in the order in which they happened. Include both positive and negative occurrences, and anything out of the ordinary.
In Teams, swipe up on the bottom navigation and tap Edit. In Edit navigation, drag Shifts from More Apps to the top section. Note: The number of apps you can have in the navigation bar is limited, so you may need to remove other apps before you pin Shifts.
You should document what you witnessed (both positive and negative occurrences), initiated, and what happened before or after an incident. You should record any event or situation as soon as possible. Accurately record events in the order in which they took place by including specific time stamps and dates.
Select the date that you want to change the schedule and right-Click on the date and click ​Edit. 4. Enter a new start time and end time for the shift.
