Edit a report. Open the properties menu. In Lightning Experience, next to the Save button, click. | Properties. In Salesforce Classic, click Report Properties. Under Report Name, enter a new name for the report. Click Save.
From the reports window, select Memorize. On the Memorize Report window, type in the name you want to assign the report. Note that you need to enter a new name when you are saving a new memorized report. If you want to overwrite a previously saved report, use a name similar to it.
On the Reports or Dashboards page, find the report or dashboard you want to rename and select the Rename row level action. Alternatively, navigate to the report or dashboard folder, click. next to the New Folder button, and select Rename. Enter the new name. Click Save.
Click the Modify Report button. Refer to steps below to make desired edits. Click File, Save. Note: The file name of the report is an 8-digit number.To change the font of an element: Click on the desired element. Click Edit, Font. Select the desired font settings and click OK.
This report typically includes information on sales volume, leads, new accounts, revenue and costs for a given period. It may also analyze this information along each step of the sales funnel and indicate your sales teams performance (or any gaps therein).
Once you create a Custom Report Type and save it, there is no way to go in and edit it. This means that if you do not originally choose the correct fields or related list fields, you have no way of updating the Custom Report Type to include them. Instead, you must delete the Report Type and start from scratch.
#1MinuteTip Do you know that with Custom Report Types you can rename the columns in report without renaming the fields. Click on Edit Layout for the target Custom Report Type - click on field - and click Edit Properties - Change the Display As value to your desired name.
