Tip: If you use QuickBooks Payments, heres how to process credit card payments from customers. Select + New. Select Sales receipt. Select the customer from the Customer dropdown. Enter the sales info, such as the payment method. Enter line items for the products and services you sold.
Select the Sales Receipt you want to edit. Select I Want to, then select Change/Edit Customer. Select the Enter customer name or phone dropdown, then select the customer to apply the receipt to. Select OK.
