all right so lets start again with if we were to create a new document and then what happens if we create a document and we set the margins and the columns and the gutter length width and we want to change it how do we go about doing that so again I begin File new I can come in to document and I have my document I can just keep it at this standard I say Ive info for margins columns page size Im gonna undo facing pages just for now and Ill hit OK all right so lets say I have this then I decide use a marking you know I really want to change this what do I do well I come on in and I come to layout this is where I want to be and I come to margins and columns and I can see just by coming in right here I can change it I could change it to two columns I can work with the gutter this is a really great opportunity to see the gutter is the width between the columns and I can work with the left and the right margins now if I wanted to change one of the margins I would just unlink it and the
