If you are an application developer, you would suggest the Microsoft XPS Document Writer to users who want to create XPS files when your app does not provide the option to save its content in XPS format.
Import XPS Documents Into Word Launch Word. Go to File and Open to open a current document or select New to create a new document. Click Insert and locate the Text section. Click Object, which opens a new window. In the Object window, select the option to Create From File.
Converting a .doc to .docx Open the . doc document using Microsoft Word. Click the File tab at the top-left followed by Save As from the left-hand menu. You can then choose a recent location or select an alternative location by clicking Browse.
XPS Viewer is a tool used to view XPS files, similar to docHub Reader. While XPS might not be as popular as PDF, some Windows users still work with it.
Most XPS files contain text data that is readily available for copying. Right-click the XPS document, select Open With, and then select XPSviewer.exe to open and view your document. Hold down the Ctrl key and type the letter A. Hold down the Ctrl key and type the letter C.
How to convert XPS to DOCX Upload xps-file(s) Select files from Computer, Google Drive, Dropbox, URL or by dragging it on the page. Choose to docx Choose docx or any other format you need as a result (more than 200 formats supported) Download your docx.
Type Windows Features into the Start Menu and open Turn Windows features on or off. Find Microsoft XPS Document Writer in the list of features and uncheck its box. You can also uncheck XPS Viewer to remove the program that opens XPS files. Click OK and Windows will process the removal.
How to Edit an XPS File Right-click on the document. Select Properties. Click Change from the General tab. Choose a program that you want to open the document in. Click OK to open the program and make the changes. Click the File tab and then Save As. Enter a new filename in the File Name field.
If you use the XPS format and would like to convert your document to PDF, its simple to do. Windows Office Suite comes with a print to PDF option that will easily handle the XPS to the PDF conversion process.
Follow these easy steps to convert your XPS files to PDF: In the XPS view application, click File and select Print from the dropdown menu. Select Microsoft Print to PDF in the dialog box. Click Print. Select the desired location for your new PDF.
