[Music] hello my name is vera predkova im a research and application scientists at ccdc in this video im going to show you how to create and customize labels in hermes first of all take a look at the molecule explorer window in the left if you have it missing go to display toolbars and you will see which toolbars are available to you you can check the molecule explorer window to become visible then you can right click on the molecule youd like to label in the molecule explorer window and go to labels we can label by atom type now all the labels are displayed in the display area on the right we can also right click in the display area and go to labels do not label we can now go also to display labels we can choose the selection such as atoms we have now a new window open we can make this selection wed like to label lets label by protein residue and choose alpha carbons we have all alpha carbons labeled now we can choose do not label all we can also select the atoms in the display
