Perform a search with the required filters to produce a list of issues and select Tools Bulk Change. Bulk edit issues in the Backlog. Use Shift+select to choose multiple issues and then right-click the selected items to start the bulk change operation.
You can only bulk edit up 1000 issues at a time.
In the issue there should be a More button. Click on the button and below Convert to Sub-task should be an option to Move. You should be able to move the issue to story and choose what to do with fields that are present/required in one scheme and not the other.

Solution Login as a Jira Administrator user. Select the required Jira project. Create a temporary issue which you would use for the import. Create a CSV file with multiple lines using the same Issue Key, same Issue Summary and different Component Names on different lines.
From the Jira search bar, search for the issues youd like to move all at once. Then click on the Tools button on the upper right-hand side and select Bulk change. Then, select the project youd like to move the issues to.

To edit an issue in JIRA, the user has to navigate to the issue, which is required to edit and the click on the issue to open the page. The next step is to click on the Edit button, which is present at the top left hand side of the view issue page. It will open the edit issue page that is similar to the create page.
