Create and use signatures In the Preview app on your Mac, click the Show Markup Toolbar button (if the Markup toolbar isnt showing), then click the Sign button . Click Create Signature if shown, then follow the onscreen instructions. Click the Sign button , then click the signature to add it to your PDF.
Steps to add a signature to Pages before emailing. Convert the Pages document to PDF and attach it to your email. Tap the attachment and select Markup. On the Markup toolbar, tap the Plus icon and select Signature. If its your first time, use your finger to sign. Sign with your finger or select your saved signature.
To add the signature and text, place your cursor in the document where you want it. Click Insert AutoText from the menu bar. Pick AutoText, look for the name you chose in the list, and select it. Click the Insert button.
Add your signature in other supported apps In the Markup toolbar, tap. , then choose Signature. Note: If you dont see the Markup toolbar, tap. Do one of the following: Add a new signature: Tap Add or Remove Signature, tap. , then use Apple Pencil or your finger to sign your name. Drag your signature where you want it.
To edit a template, you can open it from the Templates folder in the Pages library and click Edit. To delete a template, select it from the Templates folder in the Pages library, right-click the template, and click Delete.
Add and replace text in Pages on Mac For body text in a blank template: Just start typing. For body text in a template with placeholder text: Click the placeholder text to select it, then start typing. To remove placeholder text completely, click it, then press the Delete key on your keyboard.
Create and use signatures In the Preview app on your Mac, click the Show Markup Toolbar button (if the Markup toolbar isnt showing), then click the Sign button . Click Create Signature if shown, then follow the onscreen instructions. Click the Sign button , then click the signature to add it to your PDF.
Make sure that the file you open has a white background and enough space to insert your signature. Step 2: Select Markup in the toolbar and open the Sign drop-down list. Step 3: Pick your signature. You can also select Create signature and follow the prompts to make a new one.
