hello everyone we are waiting for everybody to join good afternoon everyone welcome to session 14 a risk vulnerability and relocation we have uh five uh talks for you today actually six um and uh we are very excited with the speakers we have today and um well start with the first talk by david williams from instable policy center and his talk is enhancing the inclusion of vulnerable communities in adaptation planning please welcome david thank you very much i hope everyone can hear me okay and can see my screen okay um first a sentence on myself im david uh im really happy to be here um uh its a really its its really great that this um this conference has been managed to be organized despite the current um conditions which im sure wasnt an easy feat so thank you very much to all the organizers and thank you very much for the introduction um im a uh im a geographer um so my my background my academic background is in is in geography um but i i then conducted a phd in political
