To move a frame together with its content, use the Selection tool to click the image outside the content grabber. To move imported content without moving the frame (that is, to pan content behind its frame), drag the content grabber. You can also use the Direct Selection tool to select and drag the image.
Frames are designed to hold graphics or text that you want to appear in your document. They are basically containers or placeholders. Shapes can also hold text or graphics, but are usually used to create graphic elements. Shapes and frames are identical except for their appearance.
InDesign has three kinds of frames: text frames, graphic frames, and unassigned frames.
To edit the content shared on your link, click the three dots to the right Add or remove files and re-select/de-select any assets youd like to add/remove to or from the link. These changes will be reflected on the Review Link as soon as you click Save.
To create a graphics frame, click the Frame Tool in the toolbar and drag out a frame. This tool is represented by an icon with a rectangle and a cross in it. Did you know? You can also use the Rectangle Frame Tool to insert images in InDesign.
Double-click the graphic file and hover the mouse over the document. Left-click to create a graphic frame and place the graphic file in the frame. Click the Selection tool to drag the frame and place it on the page or click the sizing handles to resize the frame.
By default, docHub InDesign CC displays the Rectangle Frame Tool and the Rectangle Shape Tool in its Toolbox, which is typically located to the left of the workspace. These tools have a flyout menu indicated by a small arrow in the lower-right corner of the tool.
