Footers are for the bottom of your presentation and can show information on each and every slide. Lets go ahead and switch to the Insert tab on PowerPoint ribbon to get started. Now find the text section on the right side of the menu and lets click on Header and Footer. Now the first option that you might wanna add is the date and time, which you can add by checking the box for Date and Time. This adds the current date and time to each and every slide automatically. I like to leave the update automatically box checked, so that PowerPoint will always have the date I present or print my slides. Next, you could also tick the slide number to add that to each slide and it automatically increases on every slide. Finally, click the Footer checkbox so that you can add your very own custom text to each slides footer. You can type something that you wanna add to each slide. And lastly, I like to check the option to not show any of these things on the very first slide. When you press Apply to

Simply head over to the Appearance » Menus page and click on the 'Create new menu' link. WordPress will ask you to provide a name for your new menu. Enter a name that helps you easily identify this menu, then select the relevant footer location, and click on the 'Create Menu' button.
To edit the footer, simply drag and drop a widget to the footer area of your choice. Then, click on the widget to configure it, and press Save once you're done. To add links to the footer widget area, follow these steps: Navigate to Appearance -> Menus.
In the Header & Footer Tools, select Design and then Different First Page....Try it! Select Insert > Header or Footer. Select one of the built in designs. Type the text you want in the header or footer. Select Close Header and Footer when you're done.
Solution: If you can't directly edit footer text, it's probably the case that the footer placeholder has been turned off in Slide Master view. To change that situation, you can open Slide Master view and make changes there, as described below. On the View tab, select Slide Master.
Edit your existing headers and footers Double-click the header or footer you want to edit, or select Header or Footer, and then select Edit Header or Edit Footer. Double click in the footer you want to change.
