started its 1202 welcome to the Ibis Amy seminar as you would guess this is a joint effort by Ibis which is the integrative biomedical Imaging informatics at Stanford division of radiology and Amy which is the center for artificial intelligence in medicine and imaging a stanford-wide center of research with participation from all over campus todays talk Im really looking forward to Ive known Dr Golan for several years now and have always been impressed by the depth and rigor of her work she doesnt just sort of dabble in medical images but she gets into them really deep and does some amazing work um some history she earns her bachelors and masters degrees in computer science at the technion in Israel at the Israel Institute of Technology uh and she got her PhD in computer science with the dissertation titled statistical shape analysis of anatomical structure under uh Dr Eric Crimson who many of you may know she joined the MIT faculty soon after that just two years later and shes
