hello welcome to another ginger mathematician video so this is a short video and uh got the idea from one of my friends to introduce you to the idea of the equation editor so for example if you for example writing an ia so internal assessment in mathematics or an extended essay in the ib program or any mathematical essay the equation editor is your friend and its more intuitive than you probably think so were going to work it up so mine is in german but infurian means insert and then we go to formal which is equation and this is where we can then see the equation editor so im just going to open it up here and again you can actually create fractions for example by pressing this button here and this will then allow you to write for example four over five okay but it can be a little bit cumbersome it can be um quite time consuming having to press all these buttons and find the correct buttons so what i want to show you is just a few little tricks that i think will help you get quicker

Not in Word for the web, though youll see equations that are already in your document. If you have the desktop version of Word, thats where you can add or edit mathematical equations.
You can edit an equation inserted in Word by double clicking it. The equation will open in MathType window where you will be able to make the desired changes.
MathType is better at typing out a math document if you had little to no knowledge of LaTex. Equatio does a much better job of transcribing existing math even if only one line at a time.
